Kathryn (Katie) M. Martin is a former U.S. Air Force J.A.G., Army General Counsel, and media producer who has built a career at the intersection of justice, advocacy, and storytelling. She is also the founder of a mission-driven media production company focused on bringing overlooked true stories in history to the forefront.

With over 20 years of management and legal experience, spanning military justice, employment law, brand protection, and intellectual property, Katie has served as legal counsel to senior military and government leaders, represented crime victims, led complex investigations, and advised clients on high stakes matters involving cybersecurity, ethics, civil rights, and creative assets. Her work is defined by fierce advocacy, strategic clarity, and a deep commitment to justice and cultural impact.

Katie earned her Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL (now University of Illinois Law), a Master’s (MA) Degree in film and media from Johns Hopkins, advanced certificates in DEIA management from Cornell, and Entertainment IP Law from U.S.C Gould School of Law. She is also a featured legal commentator on Netflix and Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter”, and is a sought-after speaker on law, equity, and the power of media to shape our understanding of history and American justice.

Through both her legal and creative work, Katie continues her legacy of service by helping others tell their stories, curate their business dreams, own their rights, and shape their future with intention.
